The determination of the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration of an active agent with an antimicrobial activity against a specific microorganism, consists, in an early stage, of preparing a range including at least eight dilutions of this substance, in order to monitor by three or four dilutions the alleged value of the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) or the  Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC).

CARSO Pharmaceutique carries out the MIC/MBC measurements on natural origin ingredients, preservatives or antibiotics.
